Seaside & City Cycling Loop

Please RSVP

Join us for this informal cycle tour. This is a great cycling route for visitors looking for a fun 20km loop that wanders through Victoria's most historic and unique points of interest. We'll go along Dallas Rd to Clover Point, into Oak Bay Village, past the Government House, Craigdarroch Castle, the dramatic gates of Chinatown and along the Inner Harbour.

Bike rental is available for $7 per hour for 2 hours. Please email to confirm, and indicate if you require a bike rental. (they get booked out quickly on a nice day so please rsvp by Friday June 8th to ensure a bike rental. If you don’t RSVP, they may still have bikes available so come on down and see). We will be riding on the shoulder of Dallas Road so this may not be suitable for those not comfortable riding on urban roads.

Where: Fairmont Empress - meet in the lobby of the Fairmont Empress and we will walk over to Cycle BC rental shop.
Weather: Rain or shine! If it rains, we will change the route to a 1-hour tour of Beacon Hill Park & Fisherman’s Wharf.
