Lover of highly-caffeinated coffee, quirky Yelp reviews and a self-proclaimed content gold digger, Julie has a real passion for the online social space. With over 12 years of experience in digital marketing, her specialties include strategic planning, preparing and implementing social media governance models, building and sustaining community, reporting and stakeholder management. Julie uses a balance of qualitative and quantitative data, and good judgment to guide her strategic approach and POV on Social Media. She has provided direction for mid to large-scale digital marketing programs within business verticals, including broadcast, retail, IT, natural health, financial, education, automotive and not-for-profit.

Julie's newest venture is heading up Social Media initiatives, as well as defining the social voice for Cision Canada. She is responsible for providing benchmarks and analysis to inform company-wide decision-making. Her role will effectively partner with enterprise strategists as well as key marketing, and CSR leads to discuss, develop and articulate a social media vision and strategy to support Cision Canada's thought leadership and business objectives.
