Wayne Parrish is Postmedia's Chief Operating Officer overseeing the operations of Canada's largest publisher of paid English language daily newspapers and a host of destination websites. Wayne also plays a significant role with Canada Basketball as the organization's President & CEO, a position he has held since 2007.
A native of Vancouver, Wayne is a former sports columnist and a two-time National Newspaper Award winner. He has held a series of increasingly senior positions across a broad range of segments including newspapers, Internet, and publishing, having served as General Manager and Executive Editor of the Toronto Sun, Vice-President-Strategy at Sun Media, Chairman, President & CEO of the CANOE Online Network, President & CEO of Quebecor New Media, and President & CEO of Sport Media Group.
