WHALE WATCHING | Eagle Wing Tours

Urban Walking Tour in Downtown Victoria
Discover downtown Victoria's eclectic mix of hip cafés, food merchants and eateries. As you stroll with an experienced guide, you'll meet the intriguing proprietors who provide true flavour to the region. Samplings include local cheese from the Cowichan Valley, a formal tea tasting at Silk Road, a variety of meats and house-made pâtés at Choux Choux Charcuterie, traditional pastries at the iconic Dutch Bakery, and a wine tasting at the Artisan Wine Shop.
  • The Victoria Tour begins at 1:00 p.m. and lasts approximately three hours with five stops. Transportation is by foot.
  • Cost: $89 per person plus HST (maximum of 14 persons, minimum of 10 persons). A 50% non-refundable deposit is due at time of booking. Full payment and guarantee of numbers* is due 2 weeks prior to tour date.
Cowichan Valley Cuisine and Wine Day Tour
Follow your taste buds to explore the Cowichan Valley! You'll depart from your hotel for a scenic 45-minute drive over the picturesque Malahat, arriving at your first stop in the old fishing village of Cowichan Bay. It’s off to a tasting at the charming cheese shop and deli where artisan cheesemakers craft goat and cow’s milk cheeses that are perfect with our local wines. Right next door, artisan bakers mill their own flour and create fabulous breads and pastries. Have a taste or two, then it’s time for wine!
You'll visit two estate wineries, meet the proprietors, and taste a variety of Island whites, reds, and perhaps a sweet delight. After the tastings, a fabulous three-course lunch awaits at Amusé on the Vineyard near Shawnigan Lake. Talented Chef Bradford Boisvert is Culinary Institute of America trained, and passionate about the Cowichan Valley ingredients that form his own gardens. Menus change daily according to what is fresh, local and seasonal. The three-course meal is accompanied by two glasses of local wine to extend your grape-inspired tour - without leaving the dining room!
  • This Cowichan Valley Tour begins at 9:00 a.m. with pickup by van. Return time approximately 4:30 p.m.
  • Cost $219 per person plus HST (private group, maximum of 22 persons, minimum of 16 persons). All tastings, a three course lunch, wine and transportation including pick up and drop off are included.

You know the saying April showers bring May flowers? Well, just wait until you see how things flourish in Victoria by June! Get an eyeful of the lush flora and fauna that thrives in the west coast with a visit to Butchart Gardens.
With a vast acreage of forested and garden scenery, trails that wander though hundreds of thousands of blooming bulbs, and a unique mix of flowering trees and shrubs, it's no surprise that Butchart Gardens are a popular spot for tourists and locals alike.
