Currents 2012 is not your typical conference. Of course you’ll get opportunities to learn from savvy communicators, and make numerous professional connections, but that’s just the nitty-gritty essentials. As a top Canadian tourist destination we just can’t let you leave without a true west coast experience.

Before, between, and after the work is done, delegates will have many opportunities to enjoy BC’s capital city. Why not take some time to explore - maybe even bring a "first mate" to turn your Vancouver Island visit into a real adventure.

  • Gardens throughout the city offer colour - and photo ops;
  • Tranquil spas deliver on their well-earned reputation for relaxation;
  • Quaint corner cafe’s provide excellent venues for reflection, and people-watching.
Must do's for adrenalin and activity junkies:
Get your fix.
  • Kayak rentals and launch points pepper the coast;
  • Paragliders and wind catch wind off Dallas Point;

Must do's to be entertained:
Victoria deserves your applause.
